A modified 45S5 Bioglass® containing 2 mol% alumina and strontium oxide was prepared. In vitro bioactivity in powder monolithic samples conducted. Fourier transform infrared analysis pH change simulated body fluid were investigated for after 480 min of immersion. Additionally, X-ray diffraction scanning electron microscopy 7 14 days immersion samples. For these reasons, use new bioactive glasses can be considered promising alternative reconstruction bone defects even treatment suppression infections.
